Age Criteria
An age eligibility criterion for admission given below is for the academic year 2024-25 which begins in the month of April.
Admission in Grade | Age as on 31st May of that Year |
Nursery | 3 Years (01/06/20 to 31/05/21) |
L KG | 4 Years (01/06/19 to 31/05/20) |
H KG | 5 Years (01/06/18 to 31/05/19) |
Grade 1 | 6 Years (01/06/17 to 31/05/18) |
EXAMPLE :
- For admission in Nursery, the child age should be between 3 to 4 years. The cut-off date is 31st May 2021 for Nursery. Meaning, the child should have completed 3 years before 31st May 2024, but should not be over 4 years.
- Accordingly, you can add one year to know the age criteria required for admission in a respective grade. i.e. cut-off date for L.KG will be 31st May 2020 and so on. The age criteria mentioned above has been set by the Government of Gujarat and is applicable to all the schools of different boards across the state.
